- Romeo is a strikingly handsome, 15.1 hand, 900 lb, black, approximately 8-year-old QH gelding.
- He is a rescue but with our help he is learning to trust humans again. He has already proven to be a very smart and willing partner. This horse is sweet-natured and deserves a second chance!
- Romeo was gelded in Oct/Nov of 2006, but still exhibits some stud-like behaviors. He is pastured alone at our stable but is being socialized to both geldings and mares.
- Romeo is a Level 1 horse in the Parelli program for ground skills only.
- We are currently in the process of teaching him to accept a rider, and will need an experienced handler. He appears to have very smooth gaits at walk, trot and canter. Romeo is now healthy, completely sound, and up to date on vaccinations and de-worming.
- Trial period and/or introductory session recommended to help his new partner get to know him and to make sure the partnership will work out!
- Romeo needs an experienced, gentle and patient Parelli partner- preferably Level 2 or 3.
- PNH and barefoot/natural trim home preferred!
